The Signature Cabernet Shiraz

Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Shiraz, first made in 1962, is sourced from select Barossa Valley Cabernet vineyards, primarily the Schiller Vineyard north of Nuriootpa on the Barossa Valley floor.

All parcels of fruit are fermented separately in either open fermenters or larger potter fermenters with wild yeasts. These individual ferments bring complexities to the wine, creating richness and texture.

The wine matures for 20 months in a mix of new and seasoned French, American and Hungarian barriques and hogsheads.

Dark purple, Yalumba The Signature Cabernet Shiraz is a wine of fine aromatics with exceptional depth and concentration of flavour. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
